Shades of Gray and a Pop of Color Block Tour

It's here! My week on the Shades of Gray Block Tour!

If you've been following along, you know how cute these little 6" blocks are! Maybe you've even been inspired to make a few and check out some new to you designers. If I'm one of those for you, welcome!

I used three different shades of tone on tone-ish grey and two different values of lime for my pop, and I think it turned out pretty cute!

Perhaps not shockingly, my block is half square triangle heavy and uses my Accordion Sewn HSTs™ to create all the right combinations of fabric you'll need.

Don't want to use the Accordion Sewn HSTs™? No problem! I included in my directions what you'll need to make if you use regular half square triangle methods as well. I'm a giver. But if you want to try, my gosh, I hope you will!

My FREE BLOCK PATTERN also includes several layouts for quilts you might make using this block. This one is my favorite as it just seems to have some funky movement I wasn't expecting. Don't you love when that happens?

Be sure to check out the other blocks and designers if you haven't already! Here's a few you may have missed:
