I've created a project that I can use to easily teach the Flying Frankies™ outlined flying geese method via Zoom, and it just so happens to be a holiday theme, so perfect seasonal timing.
In three hours, we will learn the ins and outs of this cool dimensional variation of Accordion Sewn HSTs™ while creating a 12" holly and berries block. At that point it will be up to you to decide how to use the block (pillow? center of a round robin? mini quilt? tote?) and will receive the directions to finish three holly blocks into the runner shown at the end of class. Even if you don't want to make the runner or ever finish the block into a project, you will have the skills to use the Flying Frankies™ method in any project that uses half square triangles that you might want to add a little extra something to.
You will download your supply list and cutting homework after registration. The packet includes the Zoom link for the event. Come join us and get festive!
