What happens when you combine a little machine applique with the Accordion Sewn HSTs™? A whole new level of delight! Simple machine appliqued circles are then accordion sewn (or made into half square triangles any way you choose) and turned into these fabulously fresh slices of melon-y joy!
The large lap quilt (69" x 73") is made using lots of fun scrappy prints and either scrappy or yardage for background. Play with variegated threads when you are appliqueing to make things even more fun and amazing! Thrill to the dizzying length of the accordion you can make and watch it turn into some gorgeous blocks!
Included are full color directions, Accordion Sewn HSTs™ directions, alternate colorways, and some illustrated quilting ideas. A template for the circle is included as well, though alternatively you can use the Hearts and More™ template from Sue Pelland Designs, Size C.
